For honoring mothers’ and motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers’ in society, ‘The Jain International School’ celebrated the mothers’ day on 11 May 2013 at the assembly hall.

A number of activities were organized for the mothers to celebrate the day. To begin with, mothers were welcomed with an action song by the tots of P.G., L.K.G. and U.K.G. Anjali Bhojwani of class V expressed her feelings for mothers. It was followed by a cultural fashion show. Mothers’ with their stars walked the ramp flaunting their traditional attire, which showcased the rich culture of our country.

Aditya Gupta sang a melodious song conveying that no one can surpass a mother in making sacrifices. The children of class IV and V performed a skit to express the importance of mothers in our life. The Principal, Mrs. Ira Bhat, said, “We need to revive the old traditions of respect for parents and elders among students”.
