TO CREATE CONSCIOUSNESS AMONG TEACHERS and STUDENTS FOR MORAL VALUES

Moral values are the ethics on life which contribute a lot in the formation of a person’s mental outlook. These values are either inculcated by parents at home or by teachers in the school. In order to create awareness for these values The Jain International School family was blessed by the presence of two eminent personalities Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi, M.P. and Former Minister HRD and Mr. Praveen Togaria, Executive Secretary VHP who addressed the staff members and the students of classes 11^th and 12^th. The honourable guests received a warm welcome from the school Trustees Mr. Amar Agarwal and Mr. Kapil Agarwal and the Principal Mrs. Ira Bhat introduced them to the staff and students. Both the dignitaries had an open discussion and discourse with the students. They told the students that moral values are important because they guide us in every day life decisions and dictate how we live our lives and treat each other. Positive moral values are important because they allow us to have an overall feeling of peace and joy and can give meaning to our life. We are able to direct our behavior towards beneficial and fulfilling activities and can have positive bonds with the people when we live our life according to the moral values that are based on honesty, compassion, courage, modesty and forgiveness. They concluded that students are the future of the nation, so they have to prepare individually in the present for their future and they have to be mentally, physically, morally and emotionally fit for the betterment of the society.
