RADHE - RADHE-Tuesday, 27th August 2013
Was it an illusion or a reality? It seemed as if we were in Vrindavan. From the entry gate to the other end, TJIS Little Champs was buzzing with the tiny-tots beautifully dressed up in exuberant colors as Radha, Krishna, Yashoda, Nand Baba, Sudama, devki and Vasudev etc.
Yes! It was none other than the celebration of Lord Krishna’s Birthday. We, at The Jain International School believe in the holistic development of our students from childhood. So from time – to –time different events and festivals are organized to inculcate cultural and spiritual values in them.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, ‘Janamashtami’ was celebrated in TJIS Little Champs with great enthusiasm and serene religiousness. The event commenced with the Aarti of Radha (Kopal Agarwal) and Lord Krishna (Ranveer Singh Yadav) by the Trustee Mr. Kapil Agarwal and Principal Ira Bhat followed by a small cultural programme which included Fancy dress by Kindergarten, a dance and a Bhazan. The students performed a marvelous Dance – Drama ‘Krishnayan’ which depicted the birth and life of Lord Krishna. The programme concluded with the blessings of Trustee Sir and Principal Ma’am followed by Prasad distribution.
The following morning i.e. Wednesday 28th August 2013 was once again Krishamaya, resounding with melodious Bhajans of Lord Krishna by the Music Department which was thoroughly appraised by the management and staff.
MAY LORD KRISHNA SHOWER HIS CHOICEST BLESSINGS ON ALL OF US
