EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO JAIPUR AND RANTHAMBORE
We, at The Jain International School, never miss an opportunity to educate our students, whether it is regular classes or holidays. Winter vacation is usually a time when people beat the chill in their warm and cozy homes, but it was made enjoyable as well as informative and educative for a group of students and teachers of our school who visited the historical city of Jaipur and Ranthambore from 9th January to 13th January 2014.
At Jaipur, our students visited the magnificent Amber Fort which was built during the reign of Raja Man Singh, in the 17th century. They also visited Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Jantar Mantar - an observatory. The group also visited Ajmer and Pushkar where they saw Lord Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake and Pushkar Bazaar. The traditional Rajasthani village concept- ‘Chokhi-Dhani’ was indeed a plethora of Rajasthani culture depicting dance, music, puppet show and Rajasthani food. The breathtaking view of the Ranthambore Fort and safari to the world famous Ranthambore Tiger Reserve thrilled the students.
Overall the short trip to these historical places gave our young scholars an everlasting experience and knowledge.
