INTER HOUSE ELOCUTIONS JUNIOR BLOCK
Inter House Elocution and Recitation Competition
Monday, 13th April, 2015
Elocution refers to one's capacity of communicating with others, with the use of exact speech and gestures. In order to enhance oratory skills of students the 'Inter House English Recitation and Elocution Competition' was conducted for Group A i.e. Grades 1 to 5, on Monday, 13th April, 2015.
Students of Grades 1 to 3 participated in the Recitation Competition whereasElocution Competition was for Grades was for 4 and 5. One contestant each from all the four houses participated in both the events. The topics for Elocution were 'Discipline' or 'Environment' for which the children were supposed to take out a chit and speak.
Mrs SurabhiMehrotra and Ms Swati Chaurasia were the judges for the event. The contestants were judged for the content, clarity, diction, presentation and pronunciation.
The programme commenced with the blessings of God Almighty and best wishes of the Principal Mrs Chandrani Banerjee.
