Birthday of the Second President of India - Sarvapalli Dr. Radhakrishnan is celebrated all over India as Teacher’s Day – a day to offer tribute to the teachers who burn themselves to give light to their students. Teachers' Day is intended to be one of the special days for the appreciation of teachers. 

Enthusiasm and festivity marked the Teacher’s Day celebrations at The Jain International School. The Campus was gripped with fervour and activity as students put their best foot forward to pay tributes to their teachers.

The morning dawned with a Special Assembly by the students wherein they thanked their teachers for guiding, supporting, inspiring and teaching them.

The students decorated their classes and welcomed their teachers in their own special way.

To make the day special a free Eye Check-up Programme was organised for the teachers by a team of Eye Specialists under Dr ShilpaSrivastavafrom R K Devi Eye Centre and Memorial Hospital.

On the other hand a panel of officials from HDFC Bank also visited the school and told the teachers in details about the Family Banking and other benefits being provided by their bank. They greeted the teachers with tokens of appreciation.

The School Management felicitated the teachers with a memento of loveand respect for their contribution in the field of education.
