Intra- Class Diya / Lantern Making Competition (Based on Diwali Celebration on 9^th November, 2015)

9^th November, 2015.

The Little Champs of T.J.I.S. celebrated  Diwali with full zeal and zest. A special assembly was conducted by the pre-primary where the tiny tots recited a rhyme on Diwali followed by a wonderful dance performance which applauded  the  audience. The tiny tots were dressed up in Indian traditional attire.

They enjoyed the whole day by the following various  activities and they also carried back the Diyas decorated by them.

       To celebrate this auspicious day, the children of Grades 1 to 5 had an ‘Intra Class Diya/ Lantern Making Competition' -CCA activity in which the children of  Grades 1 and 2 decorated the Diyas, where as, Grades 3 to 5, made beautiful and well decorated Lanterns amongst which the best ones were as follows:-
