70thINDEPENDENCE  DAY CELEBRATIONS AT TJIS

Where the mind is without fear

And the head is held high:

Where knowledge is free;

Here the world has not been

Broken up into fragments……

Into that heaven of freedom, My Father,

Let my country awake.

Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence at The Jain International School to mark the 70th year of freedom from the clutches of British rule. On this patriotic occasion the Junior and Senior students showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s visionthrough their performances.
The glorious morning of Independence Day dawned with Prabhat Pheri .The school resounded with patriotic slogans like Vande Mataram, Jai Hind, I Love My India, as the school students along with the staff members marched proudly depicting intense love for their motherland.

To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Senior and the Junior School Principals Respected Mr M. K. Panda and Mrs Chandrani Banerjee respectively unfurled ‘The Tricolor’ with ceremonial sincerity and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of their freedom.
