Education is not a preparation for life;it is a never-ending and ever-enriching part of the journey of life.The significance of good education is that it is the key to success in life and success depends on the right career choice at right age, be it through Science, Engineering, Commerce, Arts or Humanities. It is important that parents and teachers must guide the children towards right career path, where the interests and strengths of the children lie. This aim is being appropriately fulfilled at The Jain International School where we are nurturing the interests and passions of students by giving them proper campus counselling from time to time by inviting faculty members from various renowned institutions.
On Tuesday, 20th September a team from Aakash Foundation, under the leadership of their Branch Manager Mr Awadhesh Dixit and Mr ParteshRai, Assistant Baranch Manager visited our school and counselled the students of classes 9th and 10th .The institute still adheres to the Indian Concept of ‘GURU- SHISHYA’where the Guru unconditionally shares his knowledge with his pupils and the shishya strives to quench his knowledge thirst and attains a glorious future.
They talked to the students about the parameters of success in life like wealth, fame, respect, self-satisfaction and secure future. The students should know their skills and work to develop their Physical, Mental, Social and Emotional Strengths which will ultimately define their personality.
Though the Institute is mainly famous for nurturing Medical and Engineering students but they also discussed about other career options like Architect, Banking, CA, Taxation & Foreign Trade. They convinced the students for their better future and told them to apply in their lives,
‘I Can and I Will’.
Overall the Counselling session was very enlightening and motivating. It will definitely prove to be fruitful for or youngsters.
