‘Great teachers have the ability to change lives for the better’

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September,2021 to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr.SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator.

TJIS celebrated this day with great enthusiasm and zeal through the Zoom app on 5th September, 2021 at 11 a.m. The whole event was meticulously planned and organized by Class XII students.

The programme was hosted by Mansi Manwani and Illima Fatima. Honourable Principal Mr. M.K Panda, Mrs. Deepa Singh ( Headmistress Senior Wing) and Mrs. Rekha Singh (Headmistress Little Champs) graced the occasion with their benign presence.

The morning got the ball rolling by English speech on Teacher's Day followed by fun filled and exciting games which entertained and amused everyone exorbitantly.

The dance performance by competent Illima Fatima added cherry to the cake.

Subsequently, a round of some funny and tricky questions  held the charm of the session till the end.

The programme culminated with the valuable feedback by Mr. M.K Panda, Mrs Deepa Singh and Mrs Rekha Singh who encouraged and complemented the way virtual celebration was planned out, organized and managed.
