RUBY FIESTA

The colour of love and smiles illuminates the air with energy, vigour and exuberance.

Pri- Primary kids were excited to meet on zoom to celebrate Ruby Fiesta - The Red Day. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.

Red colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with the colour red everywhere -  red dress, red rose, red teddy, red balloons, red car, red apples, red cherries; here a red………. there a red….. red- red everywhere……..our little ones spent a spectacular red day.

They did craft work and made Red Crab with red colour paper by folding and pasting method. Teachers showed them red colour objects. They asked children to find and show objects that are red in colour so that the children could identify red colour.

The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. Special assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of red colour. The young ones sang Red Day song ‘My red balloon….’ ,‘Apples are red… Roses are red…. I love red…red, red, red…’.

Colours are indeed the smiles of nature…..

The Ruby Fiesta Celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.
