Non Fire Cooking Activity

“A recipe has no soul. You as the cook must bring soul to the recipe.”

To make the students aware about of this fact and to experience the facts of self-management and culinary skills, TJIS organized a Fireless Cooking Activity (virtually) for Grades PG to IX.

 Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork, culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking.  The aim was also to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest.

 The students prepared healthy and yummy, lip smacking sweet dishes, snacks, mock tails, Salads, etc. like Cornflakes,  Bhelpuri , Coconut  Ladoos,  Mayonnaise Sandwiches, Golgappas,  using easy and quick recipes. They showcased their artistic ability and aptitude by preparing their dishes with paramount concentration and attention and served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way which was most appealing and the display was visual treat tickling to the taste buds.

 Officiating Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh and Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Singh applauded the students for the presentation, nutritional value and hygiene during the preparation of their dishes. The immense efforts and enthusiasm displayed by the students was par excellence.

"Cooking with kids is not just about recipes ingredients and cooking. It's about harnessing imagination creativity and empowerment."

Overall it was a wonderful experience for the children to identify and promote their exceptional talent in different way. Our kids have really amazed us!
