*Earth Day Celebration*

 *At TJIS, Kanpur*

 *On 22nd April, 2022.*

 

“Earth ????rejoices our words, breathing and peaceful steps. Let every breath, every word????? and every step make the mother earth proud of us.”

 

A special assembly was organized at *TJIS on 22nd April, 2022 to celebrate The Earth Day which was followed by *Tree Plantation* by honourable Officiating Principal *Mrs. Deepa* *Singh* , Headmistress, *Ms. Rekha Singh* along with Eminent Guests *Mrs. Aditi Shukla, Mr. Avee Srivastava, Mr. Vikram and Ms. Ranjana Yadav.*

The Cultural Events began with the warm welcome of Guests of the day by the Anchor Master *Vratik Dwivedi* and the kids of Little Champs extended heartfelt welcome to all the Guests in a magnetizing and adorable way. This was followed by a  *Skit on the theme "Save Earth, Plant more Trees"* by the  Little Champs and a *Short Play  "Go Pollution Go"* by the senior students.

An instrumental music performance  by the students Arav and Paras  filled the atmosphere with immense joy and exultation.

 

Founder and associate members of *Humane* *Foundation* Ms. Aditi Shukla, Mr. Avee Srivastava and Mr. Vikram addressed the gathering and raised an awareness among students concerning conservation of Mother Earth. Subsequently,  *Ms. Ranjana Yadav* , Radio presenter of all India radio " Akashvani/ Fm Rainbow, in her address shed light on the need of saving the planet Earth and reducing usage of plastic.

 

Officiating Principal also shared her words of wisdom about the Earth Day and it was followed by Felicitation of all the Guests with a token of love and appreciation by the Principal Ms. Deepa Singh and Headmistress Ms. Rekha Singh.

 

The Earth Day celebration was culminated with the national anthem. Over all, the day was marked not only by awareness but also enthusiasm ???? on the part of the students.
