Mother's Day Celebration

 “A Mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take”

 

Mother’s Day is a special day, for children as, it shows the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magical touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful.

The students of TJIS, Kanpur  hosted their mothers on this special occasion. The event was held on 14th of May, and mothers were specially invited to spend a memorable day filled with activities and fun with their kids and to honour them for their love and blessings bestowed on their little ones .

The event started with the Lighting of the Lamp  by the Officiating Principal Mrs.Deepa Singh and Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Singh .The venue was aptly decorated with the love for dear mammas. Attractive boards displayed the creativity of children. Mother’s day cards, messages and photographs all adorned the venue.

Loving Mothers were entertained by myriad presentations by the juniors, seniors and tiny tots - Rhyme Recitations, Songs, Dance & enactments and several games mesmerized the mothers, as the children put their best foot forward. All performances exalted the mother as God, teacher, friend , philosopher and guide and emphasized the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world.

The event was concluded with an address by the   Officiating Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh wherein she expressed her gratitude to the Moms for their presence and  extended her gratefulness to be the part of this celebration.  The whole programme was served on a golden platter by Kopal Agarwal and Arav Raj Mishra who held the reins of the event successfully till the end.
