THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY (2022-23)

At TJIS, Kanpur

Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life". To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection.

The Investiture Ceremony of The Jain International School for the academic session 2022-23 was held with great pomp and dignity at School Assembly Hall. It was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion.

 

The Investiture ceremony commenced with Cordial Welcome of officiating Principal Mrs Deepa Singh, Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Singh and all present followed by March Past by newly elected council members. Subsequently, The newly appointed Little Champs and Senior School Council Members were embellished with sashes and badges and their respective flags. The oath of office was administered by Respected Principal ma'am to the Council Members. They promised to discharge their duties earnestly and fulfil everyone’s expectations. Thereafter the entire school pledged to the Head Boy and Head Girl to take the school to the zenith of success.

 

To celebrate the proud moment and enhance the grandeur of the ceremony, choir group sang a song which filled the atmosphere with air of jubilation. Respected Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh,  in her speech, motivated the council members and stressed on the need to become more focused in their goals and to inculcate leadership qualities to become a better person in life. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves and towards their school and peers.

 

Headmistress, Mrs Rekha Singh delivered ‘Vote of Thanks’. In her address, she thanked Respected Principal ma'am, Cultural Co-ordinators, the Sports faculty, Art and Music Faculty and students for their kind presence and making this programme a great success. Ma’am, congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She also exhorted them to uphold the values. The programme was concluded with the National Anthem.

Mrs. Shivani Bajpai and Mrs. Meena Singh Chauhan held the reins of the programme very skilfully till the end.

The Investiture Ceremony ended leaving behind an aura of bliss and pride, imbibing every newly elected Captain with a sense of enthusiasm and determination to maintain the honour and dignity of their institution.
