“The United Nations is our one great hope for a peaceful and free world.”

An Open School Model United Nations Meet was hosted by Seth Anand Ram Jaipuriya School

On 22nd & 23rd July from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

The Programme was based on United Nations and its agencies in which students were assigned the roles of delegates of different countries. One more committee named All India Political Party (AIPPM) was there wherein the students were given roles of different Indian Politicians.

 

An International Press was also organised which contained three events viz. Caricature, Reporters and Photography.

 

17 students of TJIS accompanied by Mr. Sujeet Singh Chauhan and Ms. Shivani Singh participated in 3 events UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL (HNHRC), HISTORIC CRISIS COMMITTEE (HCC) & INTERNATIONAL PRESS.

 

Saumya Singh class X participated in caricature.

Shreyansh Kumar Chaurasiya, Devanshu Kumar and Vedansh Verma of class X took part as International Press Reporter.

Prayush Jaiswal, Divyansh Shukla Class X appeared in photography.

Kartikey Singh Chauhan, Anshuman Tiwari & Kratika Singh of class X and Snehil Singhal, Mritunjay Pandey of Class XII were in AIPPM.

Kopal Agarwal, Devanshu Singh Chauhan of class IX and Parth Shivhare, Naman Adiani & Aarush Jaiswal of class X participated as delegates of different countries in UNHRC.

Kirt Verdhan of class X participated in HCC.

Kratika played the role of Arvind Kejriwal and spell bound everyone present there by her oratory skills and got the recognition of Good Speaker.

Saumya Singh won the certificate for the best caricature.

 

Mr. Sujeet Singh Chauhan and Ms. Shivani Singh held the reins in the entire programme representing TJIS and brightened up the name of the school in the event.
