Inter House TJISMUN

Model UN trains today's students to tomorrow's leaders. Students who model the UN would one day change the world.”

 The Model United Nation is a platform to encourage political thought and dialogue amongst the students all over the world. This encourages and empowers students to become effective change agents and leaders of the future.

TJIS, Kanpur commenced with the Second Session of Inter House MUN(TJISMUN) on 30th September that concluded on 31st September, 2022.

Eight  participants were selected from each house. The Programme was based on the United Nations and its agencies in which students were assigned the roles of delegates of different states / countries.

There were two committees namely All India Political Party (AIPPM) and UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council. The participants experienced exhilarating sessions of debate and discussion on burning topics like- Secularism, Religious politics, Religious Agendas, Majority/Minority and Russia Ukraine War.

The judges for AIPPM committee (first day) were our Officiating Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh, Headmistress, Mrs. Rekha Singh and Examination Incharge, Mrs. Jyoti Johri.

The judges for UNHRC Committee (second day) were Mr. Sujeet Singh Chauhan, Mrs.Rita Yadav, Mr  Akash Jain, Mrs.Shivani Singh.

An International Press was also organised which contained two categories: Photography and Report Writing.
