ESPERANZA …THE HOPE (2022-23)

The Jain International School, Kanpur repeated history in the city by celebrating ESPERANZA 2022-23…THE HOPE in a unique manner on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023 at LAJPAT BHAWAN. It was an evening full of fun and frolic for the spectators.  An air of anticipation and excitement could be sensed all around.

 

Dr Amit Singh Gaur, City Health Officer, Kanpur Nagar Nigam presided over the event as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries were honourable Chairman of SGI, Shri Amarnath Agarwal Ji, Managing Trustee Mr. Kapil Agarwal, Principal Advisor, Mr. Amitabh Mohan, Mr. Balvinder Singh, Principal GNMS and CBSE City Coordinator, Mrs. Deepa Singh, Principal TJIS, Mrs. Rekha Singh, Headmistress,TJIS, Board Members and Media Persons.

 

The Function commenced with the Lighting of the lamp by the esteemed guests. This was followed by invoking Lord Ganesha & Maa Sarswati through the first event Vandanam and felicitation of Honourable Chairman Shri Amarnath Agarwal Ji. The exciting day was festooned with a chain of cultural events. The performances presented by the students of Classes PG to XII Buzzy Bees, Hindi Play – Krishnamayi Meera, Aashayein, Choral Music, The Walk That Talks, Sinfonietta, Amuza, English Play – The Merchant of Venice, Incredible India mesmerized the audience. Overall the event was a mellifluous amalgamation of dance, music, fun and frolic.

The School Toppers of Classes PG to XII and Subject Toppers of AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII) for the session 2021-22 were felicitated  in this function.

 

Honourable Chief Guest Mr. Amit Singh Gaur and Principal Advisor, Mr. Amitabh Mohan, TJIS addressed the gathering and praised the talents of the students and motivated them.

 

Mrs. Deepa Singh, Principal, TJIS presented the Annual School Report. Mrs. Rekha Singh, Head Mistress, TJIS delivered the Vote of Thanks.

 

The anchors, Master. Saleem & Ms. Kopal Agarwal, very skilfully held the reins of the mega event from the beginning till the end under the able mentor ship of  Mr. Abhishek Pandey and Mr. Arvind Tiwari.

 

“Our sheer determination for success has brought us on the brink of perfection to envisage this day as the best memories for all present. We hope that everybody enjoyed this festival to the fullest."
