 Scout and Guide Training

 At TJIS, Kanpur

 On 16th and 17th February, 2023

 

To develop the feeling of universal brotherhood, compassion and benevolence... The Scout and Guide training was organised for the students of Classes I to XII in the school premises.

 

Sri Trivendra Kumar ( DOC), District Organizing Commissioner and the Senior Trainer, Sri Lal Ji Yadav, imparted the training to the students in the presence of Respected Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh, Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Singh and all the faculty members.

 

On the First Day of training session  students learnt about

First Aid consisting of different bandages like Triangular Roller, Tailed Bandages used for head injury, Arm sling, Palm bandage and Wrist bandage using their triangular scarf. They also learnt what needs to be done when they have nose bleeding, cuts, wounds and burns. Students were given a demo in making Handmade Stretcher for moving the injured from one place to another.

 

The Second Day of Training consisted of Knot Session with Rope. Students were taught different knots like  Reef knot, Sheet band,  Sheep shank , Bow line , Fisherman knot, Clove hitch etc.

 

The students also wrote and recited Scout Guide Prayer and ???? ???.

 

The Trainers were felicitated with token of gratitude and  appreciation from the TJIS Family for their benign presence.

 

The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Overall it was a memorable experience for the children as they learnt many life skills in this session.
