The Jain International School believes in the holistic development of our students so varied events and festivals are organized to inculcate cultural and spiritual values in them.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated on Thursday, 7th September, 2023 with great enthusiasm and serene religiousness.
The auspicious day commenced with the birth of Lord Krishna which was enthusiastically celebrated by Gurukul students at night and in the morning a visit to ISKON temple by the Gurukul students and the staff of TJIS.The whole atmosphere was Krishnamaya with the devotional songs sung by the Music Department, students and teachers in the praise of Lord Krishna. This was followed by Aarti of Radha and Lord Krishna by Respected Chairman Shri Amarnath Agarwal Ji and his family members, Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh and Co-ordinator (Little Champs) Mrs Surabhi Mehrotra. After the religious celebrations Prasad was distributed to all.
