Let us stand together in unity and solidarity for a better India.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day was celebrated on 31st October, 2023 at TJIS, Kanpur. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who really unified the country.
Inline with the celebrations country wide, TJIS, Kanpur organised a Special assembly to extend heartfelt appreciation about the life of the great leader and to infuse in the young future generation, the values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country's rich heritage. The celebration commenced by invoking God’s blessings.
Arav Raj Mishra, Sanvi Yadav, Parth Agarwal and Aradhya Agarwal enlightened the students about the life and contributions of the great leader. This was followed by an informative speech on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by Mr. Umesh Rathore.
The Morning assembly concluded with the National unity pledge taken by the students along with the teachers and national anthem sung in unison.
Thereafter, the students and teachers hold their hands to form a Human chain followed by Run for unity.
On the occasion of National Unity Day, we must come together and salute Sardar Patel for all the work he did in integrating India.
