National Mathematics Day Celebration (MATHS MANIA) On 22nd December, 2023

The Jain international school celebrated National Mathematics Day on the birth anniversary of great mathematician of India, Srinivasa Ramanujan. 

National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at TJIS on 22nd  December, 2023. The event aimed to promote the importance of mathematics education and foster a love for numbers among students.

 Engaging workshops were conducted by teachers, covering various mathematical concepts. 

An inter-school maths quiz competition (RAMANUJAN QUIZ) was organized, showcasing the students' mathematical prowess. Little Champs actively participated in different activities like formation of 3D shapes, angles, Construction of solid figures by drawing nets, Measurements and a skit on BODMAS etc.

The various activities and engaging sessions like SUDOKU, RUBIK’S CUBE provided students with a holistic understanding of the subject, making it a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved. 

Some activities like BODMAS, MEASUREMENTS, TYPES OF ANGLES & 3-D WORLD AND TIME were also organised for students. The students were also engaged in  different activities like Verification of algebraic identities by paper cutting and pasting, chart and 3D model making on various Mathematical concepts.

 Aditya Bhargava of Class IX stood first in rubik’s cube and Parth Shivhare of class XI bagged first position in SUDOKU. Students of class IX took part in Ramanujan Quiz in teams A, B & C where there was a tie between teams A and B.  Team A has Som Gupta , Samraddha Goyal, Mohd. Zishan. Team B has Hariom Shukla, Ashutosh Paliwal, and Rishi Gupta .National Maths Day at TJIS was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of curiosity and appreciation for mathematics.
