A Tribute to Four Sahebjaade on Veer Bal Diwas @TJIS, Kanpur On 22nd December and 26th December, 2023
"Shahidi Saptah and Veer Bal Diwas is not just a cauldron of emotions but a source of infinite inspiration”.
To pay homage to the sacrifices of the four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who were martyred in the 17th century, Veer Bal Diwas was commemorated by TJIS, Kanpur.
In addition to, the human chain was made by the students and teachers in the school premises to depict the bond of togetherness as "We are one".
On 26th December, the day commenced with a special assembly wherein the students recited a poem, narrated a story defining the valour of four Sahibzadas which filled the aroma with zeal and passion.
The quiz session was also conducted to make the children aware about the significance of Veer Bal Diwas.
Veer Baal Diwas is commemorated to honour the martyrdom of Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Fateh Singh and Zorawar Singh, the Sahebzades of 10th Guru Govind Singh Ji on 26th December every year.
It is a day when we all come together to bow our heads for the sacrifices laid down in the past.
Veer Bal Diwas is a day of a new beginning for the nation.
