Inter House Kite Flying Competition

On 14th February, 2024, TJIS organized a special poojan ceremony to celebrate Basant Panchami.
The event commenced with the poojan rituals conducted by our Honourable Principal, Mrs Deepa Singh and Examination Head, Mrs. Jyoti Johri which began by invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the deity associated with wisdom, and knowledge. Students were encouraged to participate actively in the ceremony by offering flowers, incense, and prayers to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for academic success and enlightenment.
Following the poojan rituals, the sweet was distributed among all attendees, symbolizing the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
Throughout the event, emphasis was laid on the educational significance of Basant Panchami highlighting the importance of seeking knowledge and fostering creativity and embracing the spirit of springtime renewal.
On this occasion, TJIS also organised Inter House, Kite Flying competition in which students showcased their tactics and skills of kite flying. Finally Yellow Tigers became victorious in the event.
Overall, the whole event was full of positive vibes, fun and frolic.
