Children’s Day Celebration

At TJIS, Kanpur

“We were all children once. We all share the desire for the wellbeing of our children, which has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of Humankind.”

Children’s day is a day marking childhood. Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay homage to the legendary freedom fighter Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, popularly known as Chacha Nehru.

The occasion of Children's Day at The Jain International School is celebrated with grand splendour and fiesta. This year too, we celebrated Children's Day with vibrant energy and great enthusiasm to bring back those memories and energy back in life. The day commenced with immense joy and magnificence.

Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by teachers followed by thought of the day, vocabulary and News Bulletin.

The main attraction was a number of fulfilled games organised for students which they enjoyed greatly. Later on, the cricket and Volleyball matches -  teachers vs students was a treat for the day

The Principal Advisor of the school, Mr. Amitabh Mohan, Principal, Mr. M.K. Panda Senior Headmistress, Mrs Deepa Singh and Junior Headmistress, Mrs Rekha Singh were also present on the occasion. They thoroughly cherished the event and applauded and motivated the students. The event concluded with the speech from Principal Sir.
