Skating is a passion for students at The Jain International School and this was proven when they grabbed the Overall Boys Championship at KSS Inter School Skating Competition hosted by Chintels School, Kanpur on 6th and 7th December, 2019.

About 450 students of 35 renowned CBSE schools of the city participated in the tournament and exhibited their Roller Skating competence in the skating rink. Skating has become one of the fastest-growing recreational sports. Skating is not only fun; it offers a lot of benefits for the mind as well as the body. Skating for exercise helps kids build strong muscles, burn off extra energy, and maintain a healthy weight. The sport is a great way to assuage back-to-school-stress, and it provides a welcome distraction from everyday worries.

The display of talent and skills by the young and budding skaters was awe inspiring for everyone present in the event – It was indeed ‘Magic on Wheels’.
