The Jain International School, Kanpur celebrated ‘World Earth Day’ in collaboration with Nagar Nigam, Kanpur. through a series of competitions on 22nd April, 2021 for Classes I to XII.

Classes I to V indulged in Art and Craft Competition on the topics Environment, Kanpur Heritage and positive impact of COVID -19 which included drawing, painting and craft, depicting basic habits like saving water, plantings trees, washing our hands, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, recycling of waste materials, making birds’ nests, and many more.

Classes VI to XII had Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competitions on the following topics:

1.How to Stay Positive During This Pandemic.

2.My City: My Pride/ Mera Shehar... Meri Pehchan.

3.Life is Possible Only on Earth... Protect it.

The enthusiasm and creativity of our youngsters was par excellence. The day was marked not only by awareness but was a proof that one person can make a global impact in positive way. Through their creativity the youngsters voiced their perception to SAVE PLANET EARTH.
